Driving towards the Future



PAMELALAROCCASTUDIO|ATELIER is active in the diverse fields of the Architecture, the Urbanism and the Product Design, in a vision which characterizes the office and its research. Formerly known and published as Kaudesign Studio, the Studio is active as PLAS since the 2015.
Flexible and Creative, its language is defined by the touch given by diverse competences, and it ranges since the Urban remediation themes until the Larger Architectural Scale.
The main  interest is about how the social and the climate changes do interact with the architecture and how the architectural remediation and strategies may be driving the most common social expectations, until they became new and unexpected.
The Atelier| Studio, has been acknowledged by different prizes such as the Holcim Award Aknowledgement for Sustainability, and  has been in exhibit or has been lecturing in different milestone occasions and magazines like the Tinag Urbanism Festival in London, in the Triennale of Milan Foundation , Abitare , ArchDaily , L’Architecture d’ Aujourd’hui , Il Sole 24 Ore, the NIB Platform, in the second and third Biennale di Pisa, 2017 and 2019 editions.







PAMELALAROCCASTUDIO |ATELIER è attivo nei diversi campi dell'Architettura, dell'Urbanismo e del Product Design, in una visione che caratterizza l'ufficio e la sua ricerca. Precedentemente noto e pubblicato come Kaudesign Studio, lo Studio è attivo come PLA dal 2014.
Flessibile e creativo, il suo linguaggio è definito dal tocco dato da diverse competenze, e spazia dai temi di bonifica urbana mediante tecniche vocate alla sostenibilità ambientale, a pratiche orientate dal mondo dell’arte e della comunicazione visiva, fino alla scala architettonica vera e propria.
L'interesse principale riguarda il modo in cui i cambiamenti sociali e climatici interagiscono con l'architettura e in che modo la bonifica e le strategie architettoniche possono guidare le aspettative sociali più comuni, finché non diventano nuove e più evolute.
L'Atelier | Studio, è stato premiato da diversi premi come l'Holcim Award Aknowledgement for Sustainability, ed è stato in mostra o ha tenuto conferenze in diverse occasioni e riviste come il Tinag Urbanism Festival di Londra, la Triennale di Milano Foundation, Abitare, ArchDaily , L'Architecture d'Aujourd'hui, Il Sole 24 Ore, la piattaforma NIB, durante la terza e seconda edizione della Biennale di Pisa.
