The Graffi ceramics line,
officially presented during Fuorisalone in Milan Design Week 2019, is a family
of sculptural tableware produced Amalfi coast. PAMELALAROCCASTUDIO does direct the making of a line which is meant as a family of sculptures to enjoy the food experience as more as possible.
Usability is not compromised, but rather brought to its essence through forms that are not guided by conventions.
The creation of this line is expression of the desire to ' manipulate ' the material, in the atavial sense allowed by the clay, carved by hand .
The clay it is handworked on the lathe by skilled craftsmen, then it brings grooves and scratches inflicted by a precious brass grid from the regular pace, but with always different pressures that make each product unique and unrepeatable.
Finally, the milky white colour determines the finishing of unique pieces.
The conjugation of an optimum functionality and of the great simplicity and formal elegance of the pieces is finished, and made valuable, by the manufacture of each of them.
The orders of the entire service come in an exclusive package whose material is made from milk and paper, in a joint venture that brings together companies, quality and intelligence completely Made in Italy.
