Ørsta is a medium sized municipality in  Møre og Romsda, Norway. The City suffers the inhabitans ageing process, and a substantial lack of tourist services. Also, the old buildings obsolescence comes quite evident and dramatic.

Beyond this, despite the long seaside, there is no connection in between this quiet place and the typical norvegian touristic route plan.
As the needing to establish a new relationship in between the old landscape pointed by wooden fishmen shelters and the sea landscape, and the potential and desiered touristic flow, the project establishes a new prototypical housing unit , inspired both in layout and in facade cladding by the fractal shape, where the left wing should be for public -touristic users and the right one, for resident people landlording the touristic unit.
The ground floor it is split in two parts, both developed on different connected levels, as one accessible by the pedestrian route serving the seaplace and the other one by the route with commercial aims, accessible to veichles.
The little building is so divided also by its skin,  into two different units, one looking completely glazed and connected by the pedestrian route, and the second one opaque and wooden, related to the private use.
The little building, settled in a sequence where diverse twin others are,  pops out as the terminal in a geometrical shaped loop where the context it is finally connected,  and so doing highlighted, in a masterplan where seaside, tradition,   commercials functions , housing and landscape, they all come out as a wholecomprehensive unit.
